The Weekend

The Susquehanna Valley Country Club extends to you a personal invitation to our 2027 Invitational, open to men's and women's teams. The Invitational opens Friday with an optional two-person scramble; team play begins Saturday and concludes Sunday, when a champion is crowned in each flight.

Optional Scramble

5:30 PM shotgun — a relaxed two-person scramble to open the weekend.

Sat–Sun · May 15–16

Better-Ball of Partners

Men's tee times 8–10 AM both days. Women's tee times 1–2 PM both days. 36-hole gross score total.

Format

Flighted After 18

The field is flighted after Saturday's round. Ties are decided by Saturday's total, then by the USGA tiebreak formula.

Entry & Format

What's Included

Entry Fee

$340 per team

$170 per player. Includes lunch and cart rental each day. Entry must accompany the entry form.

Optional Skins

$20 per team / day

$1,000 will be added to the weekend skins, paid out across Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16.

Practice Round

$20 cart fee

An optional 18-hole practice round may be played Tuesday–Friday, May 11–14 (no greens fee; starting times required). Call the Golf Shop at (570) 743-7052.

The Fine Print

  • Contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Players age 65 and older may compete from the forward tee markers.
  • The field will be limited according to entry date (postmark). The Committee accepts up to 48 men's teams and 12+ women's teams (two six-team flights), and assigns all pairings.
  • Participants are required to use golf carts. Clubhouse and locker-room facilities are available to all contestants.
  • In the event of a tie for first place in any flight, a playoff will be held beginning with the first hole. All other ties divide prize monies.
